Asset Manager for Jira adds:

- Log into your instance of Jira as an admin.
- Select the Apps dropdown menu from top navigation bar, and choose Explore new apps.
- Once the screen loads, you can type Asset Manager for Jira in the search bar to find the appropriate app.
- Select the app tile and the app details page of the specific app loads.
- You can select Try it Free to install the app.
- Once the app is installed, you will be notified via a success message. Following this, you can start using the app.
Please note: These steps are only for administrators. If you are not an administrator, then contact your Jira administrator or select ‘Try it Free’, and then request for the app by selecting ‘Submit request’.
Asset Manager for Jira uses what you already have in place for Jira Assets. We do not change how your Jira Assets work including any limits.

You can scan QR codes from a mobile or tablet. It requires installing our Jira mobile app called Mobility for Jira (additional licenses are required) in addition to Asset Manager for Jira.
In addition to QR code scanning with Mobility for Jira you get:

Currently data cannot be exported directly from Asset Manager.A custom export to CSV feature is in development.
